Bill Kime, one of North America’s foremost experts in 19th and 20th century decorative arts, is a veteran of the Canadian Antiques Road Show on CBC having appeared over the past seasons.

Binational Niagara Trails Day

Front Park, Buffalo NY and Veterens Way, Fort Erie, Ontario

Front Park and Veterans Way will be open for Binational Niagara Trails Day at 9:00 a.m. on June 4, 2006. Staging to cross the Peace Bridge will begin between 9:00 and 9:30 a..m. Following the Binational Niagara Trails Day crossing of the Peace Bridge there will be a host of events for all ages and abilities in the staging areas on either side. Some of these festivities will include walks, runs, hikes, water trail events and bike rides led by local clubs and organizations all over the region.

Family Educational Event Saturday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. See living history re-enactors, dressed in period attire, recreate the life and activities of the men,women, and children from the militia regiments that served on the Niagara frontier during the War of 1812-1815. Watch musket and artillery demonstrations, militia training drills and maneuvers,a flag raisingparade and the regimental ladies enjoy an ? afternoon Tea? . Join in the period children's games, learn and interact with the participants. Great for all ages! Adults: $5.00 ~ 12 and under Free. It all takes place at Willowbank Heritage Estate , 14487 Niagara Parkway, Queenston .
