Fort Erie Race Track
Fort Erie Race Track and Slots offers 80 days of live racing from May 3 to October 28. The horses run Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and occasionally on Friday. It is also the home of the Prince of Wales Stakes. Post Time is 1:05pm.
Stake Races
Fort Erie Race Track offers many noteworthy races. The most significant is the second jewel of the Canadian Triple Crown - The Prince of Wales Stakes on July 13th. Last year 23 stakes races were held here. Check out the 2008 Stakes Calendar.Facilities
The Main Track is one mile of sandy, loam soil with a distance from the last turn to finish of 1,060 ft. The track is 75 ft wide.The Turf Course is seven furlongs and is inside the main course. The distance from the last turn to the finish is 930 ft.
The Stands hold 4,000 people (all ages admitted), with 3 restaurants and several snack bars for you dining pleasure. And if you need a change of pace, try your luck at some of the 1,200 slot machines.

Fort Erie Race Track is immediately accessible from the Queen Elizabeth Highway. Approximately 5 minutes from the Peace Bridge, at Buffalo, New York take Concession Road North exit, 20 minutes from Niagara Falls or 90 minutes from Toronto, Ontario take Bertie exit.
